The brief: Medik8 became a client of Kendrick PR in January 2020, after a fantastic first few months and their most successful press event ever, Covid-19 hit the UK and the world. With a fantastic existing product portfolio and a wave of exciting new products, we adapted our PR plan and strategy to navigate the pandemic landscape and ensure Medik8 received maximum exposure and sales.

Kendrick PR rose to the challenge and developed a two year PR plan with a virtual and digital focus to ensure Medik8 could connect with their target audiences. Our team:

  • Helped launch 6 new SKUs in the Medik8 portfolio, including Press & Glow which is now a cult skincare product.
  • Planned and hosted virtual product launch events, including an interactive session with journalists, influencers and KOLs for Medik8’s Crystal Retinal 20.

  • Secured coverage in key media, such as Marie Claire and POPSUGAR, for Medik8’s behind the scenes production of hand sanitiser for the NHS.
