CLIENT CASE STUDY: BEAUTY UNCOVERED LIVE

LAUNCHING THE UK’S FIRST EVER COSMETIC AND AESTHETIC CONSUMER SHOW

The brief: Beauty Uncovered Live is the UK’s first ever cosmetic and aesthetics show – this conference is designed to educate the UK consumer on this fast-growing sector in the beauty industry. This innovative event took place in May 2022 and Kendrick PR were appointed as their PR partner to help ensure its success. The Beauty Uncovered Live team needed a bespoke PR strategy to help build their brand profile, shape their event content and raise awareness amongst their target audiences – our key goals were to drive ticket sales and create a buzz on social media.

CAMPAIGN ACTIVITY & RESULTS

Kendrick PR devised and delivered a bespoke PR strategy to help Beauty Uncovered Live promote and host a fantastic event combining the industry biggest names and brands. Our team:

  • Secured beauty editor Nadine Baggot to be the ‘face’ of the show. She hosted a series of Instagram pre-show promos and competitions, and during the event shared IG Lives and hosted a number of expert panels across the two days.
  • Secured 9 leading expert speakers and KOLs including Dr Sohere Roked, Dr Wassim Taktouk, Dr Munir Somji, Dr Yusra Al-Mukhtar, Dr Jonquille Chantrey, Dr. Nina Bal, Dr. Tapan Patel, and Dr. Sophie Shotter – each supported at key on-site locations, speaker stages, or retail stands.
  • Planned an exciting agenda of live demos, onsite treatments, panels, education stations, and more! KPR briefed all experts and helped shaped their sessions.
  • Managed an extensive unpaid influencer campaign – pushing to secure FOC posts and ticket giveaways to drive overall event awareness and ticket sales.
  • Contacted over 265 influencers and secured over 80 to attend.
  • Reached an audience over 676k in pre-event social media activity.
  • Conducted pre-event media outreach promoting a national survey and securing advertorials in top UK publications such as OK, Evening Standard, Marie Claire and Get the Gloss.
  • Delivered a total campaign reach of over 21m.
